DriftGuard

What your store sells, and what Google is showing, are not always the same thing.

A product goes out of stock, a price changes, a variant is archived — and the feed keeps advertising it for hours or days. Nothing errors. Nothing alerts. DriftGuard is the check that catches it.

We don't manage your feed. We verify it.

What it does

DriftGuard reads your Shopify catalogue and your Google Merchant Center feed independently, then compares them offer by offer. When the two disagree, it tells you which product, which variant, and in what way.

It only ever reads

DriftGuard performs read operations only. It never edits products, never touches your feed, never changes Merchant Center settings, and requests no Google Ads access at all.

From Shopify it asks for read_products and nothing more — inventory quantities are deliberately not requested. From Google it uses the Merchant API's content scope, which is the only Merchant Center permission Google offers; there is no read-only variant of it, so the restraint is enforced in the code instead: the Google client has no write method.

Status

DriftGuard is in active development and is not yet generally available. This page exists so the project has a public home while its Shopify and Google Merchant Center integrations are being validated against real accounts.

It is not a shop, and nothing is sold here.
